Sending a custom header to your monitored resource

Sometimes it is necessary to send a specific HTTP header to access a semi-public page that, for example, may contain status information of a service.

You can define such a custom HTTP header name and value when creating or editing a net monitor which the allgood.systems bot will then include when making requests to your URL.

For example, say you want to monitor if your NextCloud instance has app updates available. You could configure your monitor with the status URL and add your secret token to the custom HTTP header like follows:
